On March 30th, 1996, the Foothills subdivision announced its Grand Opening in the Prescott Courier. The full page advertising inserts ran for 3 consecutive weeks. A small trailer served as the sales office and was located just below lot 24.

Initial sales were good for the time and the subdivision was off to a good start! A year later, the model home was constructed and the house became available for $364,900, which was a lot of money at the time.
